Featured Funding Opportunities
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB) has released a request for proposals (RFP) to conduct original research, including extensions of existing research. The RFP seeks contractors to produce research papers in the following areas:
- The promotion of sustainable livelihoods in developing countries for workers and their families.
- Strategies for consumption smoothing in developing countries.
- The impacts of trade-related labor provisions in trade preference programs on labor rights in developing countries.
The RFP may be accessed here. Proposals may be submitted until August 27, 2010, 2 PM EST.
Researchers should also be advised that questions regarding this RFP will be accepted by Mr. William Stevens, Contracting Officer, of the DOL Office of Procurement Services until August 11, 2010, 2 PM EST. Please visit the RFP link (above) after August 11 to view responses to questions.
