This report focuses on the consideration of gender in the design of the USAID Poverty Assessment Tools for microenterprise projects and provides recommendations for how these poverty tools may be adapted to assess the presence of intra-household poverty and inequality. The objective of this report is to draw attention to the presence of intra-household inequality and develop a menu of options for developing and testing methods to assess intra-household poverty.
